Payment System:
RampidPay's card payment systems are secure (the
'padlock' icon that you see when entering personal
details and a credit card number). Your payment
information is maintained securely and your personal
data is not shared with anyone.
Mailing Address: RampidPay accepts credit card orders
only where the mailing address is the same as that
of the cardholder. This is checked with the card
issuer and/or cardholder's bank before the
transaction is put through.
Phone Number Validation:
During the ordering and payment process RampidPay requires a
valid phone number. Before the order is processed,
RampidPay anti-fraud system will call to validate the
phone number and confirm your purchase. This is to
facilitate evidence-gathering if and only if a
transaction later proves to be fraudulent. The
information is used for no other purpose.
ID Verification: To
prevent fraudulent transactions, the customer may be required
to verify your Identity with one of RampidPay's billing
attendants over the phone. This process is short,
automated, and it will prevent stolen credit card
use.
Customer's IP Address:
During the ordering and payment process RampidPay records
the internet address (IP address) of the customer's
computer. This is to facilitate evidence-gathering
if and only if a transaction later proves to be
fraudulent. The information is used for no other
purpose.
Guaranteed Delivery: All downloadable goods are
electronically tracked and delivered as soon as the
transaction is complete.
Transaction Watch: RampidPay's payment processing
partners operate intelligent systems which look for
suspicious transactions or usage patterns and report
them. RampidPay always check to ensure that orders are
legitimate before goods are dispatched. Sometimes,
for your protection, RampidPay will contact you to verify
an order - this will not affect delivery times.
Prosecution: RampidPay investigates and pursues
attempted fraud to the full extent the law allows.
This includes the recovery of civil compensation and
costs as well as criminal prosecution. RampidPay
Anti-Fraud department will submit and pursue all
fraud attempts.
